Ukraine has sent an updated peace plan to the US during President Trump's talks with European leaders. Bloomberg reports this with reference to a source.
The transfer of the updated peace plan to Washington took place synchronously with Trump's important negotiations. The agency reports that at this time the US President spoke by phone with European leaders: British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
"Weeks of negotiations have led to a document that is more acceptable to Kyiv, but several controversial points, in particular on territory and security guarantees, continue to slow down the agreement," Bloomberg writes.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the leaders of Great Britain, France, Germany and the US agree that now is a critical moment for Ukraine and the security of the Euro-Atlantic region.
On December 9, the Financial Times reported, citing its own sources, that the Trump administration had given President Volodymyr Zelenskyy just a few days to respond to the American proposal to end the war.
Also on December 9, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine would soon submit a "peace plan" to the United States, finalized together with European partners.
