Ukraine will soon be ready to send documents with steps to end the war, finalized with European partners, to the United States. This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on his Telegram channel on Tuesday, December 9.
Zelenskyy noted that today he discussed the results of the work in London with the participants of the Ukrainian negotiating team. According to him, Ukraine and Europe have worked out the components of possible steps to end the war, and are ready to present them to American partners.
"We are interested in real peace and are constantly in touch with America. And as the partners in the negotiating teams rightly note, it all depends on whether russia is ready to take effective steps to stop the bloodshed and prevent the war from flaring up again. In the near future, we will be ready to send the finalized documents to the United States," the President emphasized.
It is necessary to take the most effective steps to end the war as soon as possible, Zelenskyy emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 8, US President Donald Trump said that he was disappointed that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had not yet "read" the peace plan proposed by the United States to resolve the conflict.
On December 8, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has neither the legal nor the moral right to give up its territories to the aggressor country of russia.
On December 9, Trump said that Ukraine should hold elections, as, in his opinion, they have not been held for a long time.
