The training of military personnel is being moved away from the front, they are fixing the training grounds in the center and west of Ukraine behind the corps. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"We continue to move training away from the front, we are fixing the army corps behind the training grounds in the center and west of Ukraine," he said.
At the same time, Syrskyi stressed that the issues of building and equipping shelters in training centers require acceleration and urgent organizational decisions.
"The state of security at some facilities is unsatisfactory! We have no right to take the safety of our servicemen lightly. I have given the necessary orders to resolve problematic issues," he said.
Syrskyi noted that the enemy continues its offensive, so Ukraine has no other choice but to strengthen its defense capabilities and strengthen its army in order to further repel full-scale russian aggression.
He separately noted the importance of implementing a comprehensive program for the adaptation of servicemen at the beginning of basic combined arms training, because, according to him, it is during this period that a significant number of unauthorized desertions from units occur.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in November, Syrskyi suggested that the russians could have learned about the military gathering in the Dnipropetrovsk Region on November 1, where 19 people were killed as a result of a missile strike, through the hacking of a group chat on social networks.
In early October, Syrskyi reported that due to the drone and missile threat, training centers are being moved inland, as far as possible from the front line.
