US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, when asked which three people he would invite to dinner, chose US President Donald Trump, russian dictator vladimir putin, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to "see what happens."
He said this in an interview with Katie Miller.
"At this point, I think it would be President Trump, vladimir putin, and Zelenskyy," Hegseth replied when asked which three people he would invite to dinner.
He added with a laugh: "See what happens."
As for what would be served for this dinner, the US Secretary of War chose steaks, but noted that it doesn't matter.
"No comment. Doesn't matter. Steaks, you know, whatever the President wants. See what happens. It will be a dinner for peace," he said.
The journalist continued with the idea that it would be well-done steaks, French fries.
"Done. And russian dressing or Thousand Island dressing for the salad. I love it," Hegseth said.
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier in the United States, a wave of discussion arose after HuffPost journalists drew attention to the tie worn by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House. The accessory had red, white, and blue stripes - in the same order as the colors of the russian flag.
