President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is awaiting signals from the US delegation after talks in russia. Zelenskyy announced this during a conversation with the media together with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"There will be a meeting of the American delegation in russia, we will wait for their signals. They want to report to us immediately after their meeting," he said.
Zelenskyy noted that the next steps depend on these signals.
"The steps will change throughout the day. Even, I think, hourly. We will receive certain signals. If the signals work, if it is fair play with our partners, then we can meet very quickly, we will meet with the American delegation. At what level - we will see, depending on the signals. If the signals are such that they will provide an opportunity and a chance to make global, but quick decisions, then the level will be higher. If all this is still a dialogue...dialogues can be continued, but a result is needed," the President said.
He added that he is ready to receive all the signals and is ready to meet with US President Donald Trump, it all depends on today's talks.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Tuesday, December 2, Zelenskyy arrived in Ireland for his first official visit, where the Ukrainian delegation reported to him the details of the negotiations with the US, which cannot be heard over the phone.
On December 1, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov reported that the Ukrainian delegation managed to achieve significant progress in negotiations with the American side in Florida (USA).
Today, December 2, in Moscow, russian dictator vladimir putin will meet with US President's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, as well as Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner. The American side will present a peace plan that was reviewed with the Ukrainian side during negotiations in Miami.
