President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Paris has reported difficult battles on the Pokrovsk axis and the unsuccessful advance of small infantry groups of the russian army and emphasized that the success remains with the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Kupiansk axis, which the Ukrainian military "almost completely cleared". It was stated in the President's press conference in Paris.

"And we, to be honest, cleared almost everyone from this city," he said.

Zelenskyy also stated that the losses of the occupiers over the past month and the month before were the largest for the entire war - 25,000 soldiers.

The President admitted that "there are no secrets" and "there are certainly some advances." He emphasized that the russians do not intend to stop, so Ukraine must have clear security guarantees after the war to prevent a new invasion.

Following the meeting, the head of state announced that russia had missed the deadline for capturing Pokrovsk and Kupiansk, which was set by russian dictator vladimir putin.

Earlier, military analysts from the Institute for the Study of War noted the success of the Defense Forces in the area of Kupiansk.
