President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the heads of the defense and security sectors. Following the meeting, the head of state reported that russia had missed the deadline for capturing Pokrovsk and Kupyansk, which was set by russian dictator vladimir putin. He reported this on Telegram.
"Kyrylo Budanov reported on the situation on the threatening front lines, on russia's military preparations and the deadlines that the occupier is counting on. Now russia has missed another deadline set by putin for capturing Pokrovsk and Kupyansk, and the deadlines have been postponed once again," Zelenskyy wrote.
Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Oleh Ivashchenko reported to the President on the political and economic situation in russia, as well as on the mood in russian society and in vladimir putin's entourage. As Zelenskyy assured, the relevant conclusions were drawn based on the results of this report.
"We have identified the main directions of our defense in the coming weeks, and we will also supplement the plan of defense measures for the winter months.
