Today, December 1, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is on a visit to France. He arrived at the Elysee Palace, where he was warmly greeted by President Emmanuel Macron.

The Elysee Palace noted that the first lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, has also arrived in the country.
Le Figaro reports that the arrival of Volodymyr Zelenskyy was slightly delayed. The President of Ukraine was greeted on the steps of the Elysee Palace by Emmanuel Macron. This is Volodymyr Zelenskyy's 10th visit to France since the russian invasion in February 2022.
After meeting with Macron in Paris, Zelenskyy is expected to arrive on Monday evening in Ireland, where he will make his first official visit to the country. According to Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin, the President of Ukraine is to meet with him and his Deputy Prime Minister Simon Harris on Tuesday.
"I have met with President Zelenskyy on a number of occasions, including in Kyiv, but I look forward to welcoming him on this first official visit of a Ukrainian president to Ireland," Martin said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Macron said that US President Donald Trump's peace plan needs to be improved to make it acceptable to Ukraine and Europe. He emphasized that "we do not want a peace that is actually a surrender."
