The husband of former Ukrainian ambassador to the United States, presidential adviser on Ukraine's reconstruction and investment attraction Oksana Markarova has revealed a collection of gold coins.

This is evidenced by data of the official's electronic declaration, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

Markarova's husband, Danylo Volynets, indicated that he keeps a collection of commemorative coins of Ukraine (NBU). In particular, 52 pieces of gold coins and 293 pieces of silver coins. He noted that he became the owner of the coins in 2014. He also has a library of Ukrainian and world literature with a total of about 2000 books published in the 18-21st centuries, a collection of paintings and graphics by Ukrainian artists of the 19th-21st centuries with a total of 983 works.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Markarova became an advisor to the president on Ukraine's reconstruction and investment attraction. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed Oksana Markarova as his advisor, entrusting her with the task of rebuilding Ukraine and attracting investment. Last year, the Speaker of the US Congress demanded the dismissal of Ukrainian Ambassador Markarova and accused her of interfering in the election. On August 27, Zelenskyy appointed Stefanishyna as ambassador to the United States to replace Oksana Markarova. Stefanishyna served as Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice.
