Joint work of Ukrainian and American delegations to end war to continue at end of week - Yermak

Joint work of Ukrainian and American delegations to end war to continue at the end of this week, the head of the Office of the President Andrii Yermak announced this on Telegram, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Joint work of Ukrainian and American delegations to develop the result achieved in Geneva will continue at the end of this week. It is important not to lose productivity and work quickly. Our key common goal with our partners remains unchanged - to achieve a lasting and dignified peace for Ukraine as soon as possible," he said.

Yermak noted that both in Geneva and now the Ukrainian side is preparing for a constructive conversation in order to achieve tangible progress in determining steps to end the war.

"I thank the American team for working without pauses. Peace should be a joint achievement," he noted.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 25, Yermak reported that, as determined by US President Donald Trump, the Ukrainian side is expecting US Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll in Kyiv this week and is ready to continue working as quickly as possible to finalize the steps necessary to end the bloodshed.

On November 25, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Rustem Umerov reported that Ukraine expects Zelenskyy to organize a visit to the United States at the earliest possible date in November to complete the final stages and reach an agreement with Trump on the peace plan.

Yermak had previously suggested that the meeting between Zelenskyy and Trump could take place this Thursday, November 27, on Thanksgiving Day, to finalize the peace plan.
