The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine informs about the start of a competitive selection for four positions of independent members of the Supervisory Board of the National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom according to the requirements for candidates and evaluation criteria approved by the Nomination Committee.
This is said in a statement by the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The report says that this tender is a practical result of a joint action plan with the G7 countries to restart corporate governance at Energoatom, agreed at the end of last week.
It is noted that candidates can submit a package of documents during the following period from November 25 to December 4, 2025.
Thus, the further selection procedure includes:
- evaluation of the submitted documents;
- interviews with the participation of a recruitment agency;
- integrity check;
- formation of a shortlist;
- final interviews by the Nomination Committee, which will determine the winners according to a transparent and open procedure agreed upon jointly with international partners.
The Government is also implementing a plan to renew the supervisory boards of key energy companies and, together with partners, is assessing and auditing their activities.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko said that in order to restore confidence around NNEGC Energoatom, it is necessary to hold a competition for the Supervisory Board not according to a shortened procedure, but according to a full and open competitive procedure, in accordance with OECD standards, provided for all strategic Ukrainian state-owned enterprises.
