Zelenskyy, Macron, Starmer and Merz agreed to work on peace plan together

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz agreed to work on a peace plan together. Zelenskyy announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In particular, he spoke about a telephone conversation with Macron, Starmer and Merz.

"We discussed a peace plan for Ukraine and all of Europe. We appreciate the efforts of the United States, President Trump and his team to end this war. We are working on a document prepared by the American side. This should be a plan that will ensure a real, dignified peace," the President said.

Zelenskyy noted that the leaders are closely coordinating so that principled positions are taken into account.

"We coordinated the next steps and agreed that the teams at the appropriate levels will work together," he noted.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 21, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Rustem Umerov reported that work on the peace plan is ongoing, Ukraine is carefully studying the proposals of American partners regarding the peace plan, expecting the same correct attitude to the Ukrainian position, media reports about the alleged "agreement" or "removal of points" have nothing to do with reality.

On November 20, the Office of the President reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy officially received a draft plan from the American side, which, according to the American side, can intensify diplomacy. According to the report, Zelenskyy expects to discuss with US President Donald Trump in the coming days the available diplomatic opportunities and the main points needed for peace.

On November 19, the Axios publication wrote that the US and the aggressor country of russia have secretly developed a plan to end the war in Ukraine, it consists of 28 points and contains maximalist demands from Moscow. The media has learned that the Trump administration's peace plan includes territorial concessions to Ukraine, significant restrictions on the Ukrainian army, and a constitutional commitment to reject NATO membership. NBC News reported, citing its own sources, that Trump approved a settlement plan developed in secret from Ukraine and its partners.
