Former Deputy Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk said on November 19 that she had not left Ukraine.

She told reporters that she was "in Ukraine, in the ministry" and was handing over documents after her resignation. At the same time, Hrynchuk did not answer the key questions - why she missed the Verkhovna Rada session, whether she considers her dismissal fair, and why her name appears in the Midas case.
Journalists also asked former Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko for a comment. But apparently, he did not even receive the messages: WhatsApp and Signal mark them as undeliverable. This may indicate that the former minister turned off his phone or deactivated his messengers.
Halushchenko last appeared in the public space on November 12, when he released a statement about his suspension for the duration of the investigation.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 10, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) announced that they were conducting a large-scale operation to expose corruption in the energy sector.
On November 10, NABU detectives searched the homes of businessman and co-owner of Kvartal 95 studio Tymur Mindich, Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko, and Energoatom.
Amid the corruption scandal in the energy sector, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko, who served as Energy Minister in the government of Denys Shmyhal (April 2021-July 2025)
The Verkhovna Rada also dismissed Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk.
