Almost two-thirds of subscribers in the occupied part of the Donetsk Region are without electricity after a drone attack. At night, the drones hit two power plants in the part of the region controlled by the aggressor country.
The head of the occupation administration, collaborator Denys Pushylin has stated this.
According to him, as of the morning, 65% of consumers were without electricity. A number of kindergartens and schools have suspended their work due to the damage to the power system. Only those institutions that are supplied with heat will continue working.
Pushylin allowed the introduction of rolling blackouts in the occupied part of the region. He did not specify when they might start and how long they would last.
As a result of the drone strikes, the occupiers were forced to set up an "operational headquarters" to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
As a reminder, on the night of November 17-18, another UAV attack was reported in the occupied territory of the Donetsk Region. Two thermal power plants came under attack, and their damage leaded to large-scale power outages.
Occupation media write that the attack caused almost complete blackouts in Donetsk. The situation is similar in neighboring Makiivka. There is no information on the situation in other settlements.
This is the second such attack on the occupied territory of the Donetsk Region in the last two days. Earlier, we reported that on the night of November 17, about half a million subscribers were left without electricity in the part of the region controlled by the aggressor country because of UAV strikes.
