Russian drone strike kills shooter of Ukrzaliznytsia's paramilitary guard

A paramilitary guard was killed by an enemy drone strike while performing his duties as a result of an enemy attack on one of Ukrzaliznytsia's infrastructure facilities. Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia, has reported this on Facebook.

"We have bitter news - the railroad family has suffered a loss. While on duty at one of our infrastructure facilities, a paramilitary guard was killed by an enemy UAV. The facility had a working shelter where the employee had been staying, but another attack caught him just a few steps away from the shelter before he could return. We will examine all the circumstances in detail to prevent it," he wrote.

He also noted that not a single day or night goes by without enemy attacks on railroad facilities.

"However, we have learned to go through the vast majority of them without human losses. And this is the most valuable thing, because the railroaders are good at restoring iron. Each exception is irreparable, painful and should not be repeated. The family of our deceased colleague receives our maximum assistance," he added.
