A number of long-distance trains in Ukraine are significantly delayed due to damage to the railway infrastructure caused by russian shelling on Saturday, November 8.

Ukrzaliznytsia has reported this.

"As a result of enemy strikes on the Poltava Region, there are damages, there is no power supply at several stations, there is damage to the contact network of several sections," the message says.

As noted, only diesel locomotives can move through these areas, so a number of trains will experience significant delays on the way. Suburban trains in the Poltava and Kharkiv Regions will also run with possible delays of approximately 1.5-2 hours.
