The Defense Forces of Ukraine had to withdraw from positions near the settlements of Novouspenivske, Nove, Okhotnyche, Uspenivka, Novomykolaivka in the Zaporizhzhia Region. The Defense Forces of the South reported this on Facebook on Tuesday, November 11.
In the Oleksandrivsk and Huliaipole Axes, where the russian occupiers are using all types of available weapons, intense fighting has been going on for several days. Up to a hundred combat clashes have occurred over the past few days.
"Due to the intensification of enemy assault operations, numerous attempts at infiltration, increased massive fire impact on our positions (over 400 artillery shells per day using about 2,000 ammunition) and the actual destruction of all shelters and fortifications, in order to preserve the lives of personnel, the Defense Forces had to withdraw from positions near the settlements of Novouspenivske, Nove, Okhotnyche, Uspenivka, Novomykolaivka," the statement says.
At the same time, Ukrainian defenders are resisting attempts by the occupiers to bring their reinforcements into these settlements. Fierce fighting continues for Yablukove, Rivnopillia and Solodke. From the eastern direction, the enemy wants to capture Huliaipole and cut off logistical routes from Pokrovske.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, the army of the aggressor country of russia has concentrated about 150,000 soldiers in the Pokrovsk Axis.
On November 10, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied the occupiers' claims about the alleged establishment of full fire control over logistical routes in the Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad areas.
As a reminder, on November 9, the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian military had cleared the northern part of Pokrovsk.
