Information about the complete fire control of the logistical routes of the Defense Forces of Ukraine or the operational encirclement of the cities of Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk in the Donetsk Region by the troops of the aggressor country of russia is not true. This was reported in a comment to Ukrainian Pravda by the spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrii Kovaliov on Monday, November 10.
Kovaliov stressed that the logistics to Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk are complicated, but Ukrainian units are receiving the necessary ammunition and weapons. According to him, the evacuation of the wounded and the rotation of personnel are also underway.
"The defense of the Pokrovsko-Myrnohrad agglomeration continues. The situation remains complex and dynamic. The enemy is using all available reserves, but in return only suffers huge losses. In Myrnohrad, Ukrainian units are confidently holding their positions and destroying russian occupiers on the approaches to the city," Kovaliov emphasized.
In addition, the search and destruction of enemy positions is ongoing in Pokrovsk, the spokesman for the General Staff said. Information about full fire control of the logistics or operational environment of Myrnohrad and Pokrovsk is not true, Kovaliov emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 9, the Defense Forces of Ukraine cleared the northern part of Pokrovsk, Donetsk Region, of soldiers of the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, who managed to infiltrate there.
On November 5, the 425th separate assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed a video of the clearing of the city council building in the center of Pokrovsk, over which the occupiers had hung the russian flag.
On November 6, the Special Operations Center "A" of the Security Service of Ukraine showed footage of the liquidation of russian army soldiers who managed to infiltrate Pokrovsk.
