The Security Service of Ukraine has released a video of special forces from the SSU's Alpha Special Operations Center destroying the aggressor country's troops in Pokrovsk, Donetsk Region, and its outskirts. This is stated in a message of the SSU on Thursday, November 6.
The SSU showed unique footage of the destruction of the occupiers in Pokrovsk. Over the past year of defense in this area, they managed to destroy 9,500 russian occupants.
In addition, the aggressor's army lost the following equipment:
- 255 tanks
- 433 armored personnel carriers
- 343 artillery systems and MLRS
- 78 air defense systems
- 12 electronic warfare / electronic reconnaissance systems
- 4 553 units of vehicles
- 3,824 enemy positions and fortifications
- 65 warehouses with ammunition and fuel and lubricants.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 5, the 425th separate assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed footage of the mopping up of the Pokrovsk city council building.
On November 5, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that Ukrainian forces were not surrounded in Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.
On November 4, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the positions of the 25th Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is holding the line in the Pokrovsk area.
