Railway connection with eastern Ukraine operating as usual - Ukrzaliznytsia

Ukrzaliznytsia provides uninterrupted railway connection with the Poltava and Kharkiv Regions, despite partial problems with power supply and voltage drop in the network. This was reported by the Chairman of the Board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia Oleksandr Pertsovskyi during the telethon, the press service of the department reports.

Despite partial problems with power supply and voltage drop, these difficulties, according to Pertsovskyi, do not affect the train schedule.

"All trains in this direction continue to operate. In particular, Intercity+ Kyiv - Kharkiv and Kharkiv - Kyiv arrived clearly on schedule," the report says.

Pertsovskyi also said that for transportation to the Donetsk Region, Ukrzaliznytsia uses a combined scheme: trains deliver passengers to the nearest stations, where a transfer to buses is organized. Train delays (up to one hour) are due to passengers waiting for bus services.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, train traffic in the Kharkiv metro has been restored after a stoppage due to a power supply problem that arose after russian terrorist attacks. However, if the voltage drops below the permissible level, the metro will be stopped.

As a reminder, the day before, Ukrzaliznytsia informed about serious delays in a number of trains due to power supply problems due to russian shelling.
