Ukraine is launching a program aimed at protecting frontline cities, including Kherson, from russian drones. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this at a briefing, RBC-Ukraine reports.

The head of state noted that the program was developed by the Unmanned Systems Command. It has already received support at the state level and is ready for implementation.

Zelenskyy added that this initiative provides for "a set of measures to detect, intercept and neutralize enemy drones that threaten the city."

The President noted that the development of similar programs has begun "for other border settlements in the zone of increased danger."
