As of the morning of November 6, there are new blackouts in several regions due to russian attacks on the energy infrastructure. In particular, in the Kharkiv and Chernihiv Regions. Emergency restoration works are being carried out where security conditions allow, Ukrenergo reports.

"Due to the difficult situation in the power system caused by the consequences of Russian shelling, consumption restriction measures are currently being applied in all regions of Ukraine. As of now, hourly blackout schedules are in place in most regions. Also, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., power limitation schedules for industry and business are applied," the statement said.

Electricity consumption remains consistently high.

"Given the consequences of Russian attacks on the power grid and the low efficiency of solar power plants due to cloudy weather almost throughout Ukraine, there is a need for economical electricity consumption throughout the day. Please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances until 10:00 p.m.," the power engineers said.
