US President Donald Trump has ordered the Department of War to immediately begin testing US nuclear weapons.
The White House leader announced this in a post on the Truth Social social network.
"In light of the testing programs being conducted by other countries, I have instructed the Department of War to begin testing our nuclear weapons on an equal footing. This process will begin immediately," Trump said.
He stressed that the United States has the largest nuclear arsenal in the world, which was "completely modernized and updated during my first term."
According to the President, he "hated to do this because of the enormous destructive power," but "had no choice."
Trump noted that russia ranks second in terms of the number of nuclear weapons, and China - third, although, in his opinion, "Beijing will catch up with Moscow in five years."
Recall, putin reported on the tests of the Burevestnik and ordered to consider its use.
