Number of victims of russian strike on Kyiv on October 22 increased: wounded woman died in hospital

The number of those killed in the massive russian strike on Kyiv on October 22 has increased to three.

This was reported by the city's mayor, Vitali Klitschko.

According to him, a woman who was in serious condition after the shelling died in the hospital. Earlier it became known that a married couple who lived in a high-rise building in the Dniprovksyi district of the capital were killed.

In total, 29 people were injured during the attack. As a result of hits and blast waves in various districts of Kyiv - Pecherskyi, Desnianskyi and Holosiivskyi - fires broke out. In the Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts, russian missiles hit residential buildings directly.

What is known about the missile attack on October 22

On the night of October 22, russian troops launched a massive attack on Ukraine, using missiles and strike drones. The capital came under fire - the effects of hits and blast waves were recorded in several districts of Kyiv.

Hostile strikes also fell on the Kyiv Region. As a result of the attack, civilians were killed and injured. Among the killed were a young woman, a six-month-old baby, and a 12-year-old girl. In the Brovarskyi district, a man born in 1987 was mortally wounded by shrapnel.

Zaporizhzhia was also hit - more than ten people were injured. Rescuers evacuated residents from dangerous districts. According to the regional military administration, almost two thousand consumers were left without electricity due to the shelling.

Izmail in the Odesa Region was also hit: energy and port infrastructure was damaged. Russian missiles and drones also attacked the Kirovohrad Region - residents of 27 settlements there were left without electricity.
