The aggressor country russia has completed testing and started mass production of universal planning and correction modules (UPCMs) capable of delivering aircraft bombs at a range of up to 200 kilometers.

According to RBC-Ukraine, the deputy head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Vadym Skibitskyi, has stated this.

According to him, the russians have completed work on the modernization of the UPCM, which allows aircraft bombs to "fly" up to 200 kilometers. Now the occupiers have begun consistent combat testing of aircraft bombs with the new UPCMs. In open sources, the new bombs may appear under the names "Grom-1" or "Grom-2."

Skibitskyi emphasized that the first air strikes with bombs with new UPCMs were recorded in recent weeks. Dnipro and other cities were hit. During the last combat use, a bomb with the new UPCM flew 193 kilometers.

The Deputy Chief of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine added that the russians have already started mass production of the new UPCMs. This increases the air danger for frontline areas and large cities.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in June this year, Defense Express portal wrote, citing its own sources, that the russians started using air bombs with modernized UPCMs that allow them to cover a distance of up to 95 kilometers.

In February this year, The Telegraph reported that Ukraine is looking for ways to fight russian aerial bombs, including through electronic warfare.
