For 9 months of 2025, the largest oil company Ukrnafta has completed drilling 15 new wells, 10 more are in the process, and a total of 25 new facilities are planned to be built, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Yurii Tkachuk, Acting Chairman of the Board of JSC Ukrnafta, has stated this during the 9th Kyiv Oil and Gas Conference of the Newfolk NCC, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"We are maintaining production growth: +4.5% for oil and +1.7% for gas," Yurii Tkachuk emphasized.
In order to achieve significant results, Ukrnafta uses 3D geological modeling, API equipment, digital solutions and artificial intelligence technologies.
Over the past three years, the company has conducted 1,330 km² of 3D seismic surveys, which creates the basis for expanding the company's resource base.
The company's portfolio includes more than 400 MW of distributed generation projects implemented jointly with the EBRD and with grant support from the governments of Sweden, Norway, Germany and the Netherlands.
Since the transfer to state control in 2022, the company has paid more than UAH 75 billion in taxes and UAH 15.3 billion in dividends, including UAH 22.5 billion in taxes and UAH 5 billion in dividends in the first nine months of 2025.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukrnafta drilled 10 new wells in 2024 and started 12 more.
In November 2022, the shares of Motor Sich, Ukrnafta, AvtoKrAZ, Zaporizhtransformator (ZTR) and Ukrtatnafta were alienated to the state for the period of martial law.
