Russian subversive and reconnaissance group infiltrated the city of Pokrovsk and killed several civilians in the central districts of the city recently.
It was reported by the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The incident took place near the railway station. After that, a joint strike and search group of the Defense Forces found the subversive group hiding in the station and other parts of the city and eliminated the threat.
The 7th Air Assault Corps emphasized that special units are constantly monitoring possible points of penetration of the occupiers and intensively patrolling the city. At the same time, civilians are urged not to move around Pokrovsk unless necessary.
"The situation remains tense in the area of responsibility of the 7th Air Assault Corps. The enemy wants to expand the "gray zone" around Pokrovsk. The occupants are trying to enter the city from several directions," the military added.
Earlier, the 7th Air Assault Corps warned that units of the army of the aggressor country russia in the Pokrovsk area of the Donetsk Region were trying to bypass the positions of the Ukrainian military and penetrate the residential areas of settlements.
The day before, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that the Ukrainian military successfully neutralized russian subversive groups.
