The volume of loans granted by commercial banks to the corporate sector and individuals, according to the National Bank's operational data, increased by 1.3% to UAH 1,281.085 billion in September.
This is stated in the report of the National Bank, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Since the beginning of the year, the volume of loans in the economy has increased by 15.7% to UAH 1,106.8 billion.
The volume of hryvnia loans to legal entities in the reporting month increased by 0.8% to UAH 678.461 billion.
The volume of loans issued to businesses in foreign currency increased by 3.5% to UAH 264.863 billion.
The volume of loans issued to the population increased by 0.8% to UAH 328.625 billion during the reporting period.
In September, interest rates on hryvnia loans to businesses decreased by 0.1 percentage point to 15%, and for households by 0.3 percentage point to 35.9%.
For foreign currency loans, business rates amounted to 6%.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2024, the volume of loans in the economy increased by 10.9% from UAH 997.877 billion.
In 2023, the volume of loans in the economy decreased by 1% from UAH 1,007.648 billion.
In 2022, the volume of loans in the economy decreased by 3.5% from UAH 1,044.049 billion
In 2021, the volume of loans in the economy increased by 10% from UAH 948.386 billion to UAH 1,043.694 billion.
