US President Donald Trump has denied that he allegedly offered to give Donbas to the aggressor state of russia during a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Washington. According to him, he called for a halt to hostilities where they are, and everything else will depend on negotiations.
He said this in a commentary to journalists, Rapid Response 47 reports.
When asked whether Trump told Zelenskyy that he should give Donbas to the aggressor state of russia, the American president denied it
"No, we have never discussed this. We think they should just stop the fighting where it is," Trump said.
According to him, everything else depends on negotiations.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the British edition of the Financial Times (FT) wrote that US President Donald Trump called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to accept the terms of the aggressor country russia. Otherwise, russian dictator vladimir putin will destroy Ukraine.
Meanwhile, after meeting with Zelenskyy on October 17, Trump said that it's time to make a peace deal and "stop where they are."
On October 19, Zelenskyy said in a video address to Ukrainians that Ukraine will not give anything to russia.
