US President Donald Trump said that during his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, he called for a peace deal and "stop where they are."
The White House leader noted this in a post on the social network X.
Trump called the meeting very "interesting and cordial."
"I told him, as I likewise strongly suggested to president putin, that it is time to stop the killing, and make a DEAL! Enough blood has been shed, with property lines being defined by War and Guts. They should stop where they are. Let both claim Victory, let History decide! No more shooting, no more Death, no more vast and unsustainable sums of money spent," the US President stressed.
He also added again that this war would never have started if he were President.
