According to the results of the 31st meeting of the Contact Group on Defense Issues of Ukraine (Ramstein) on October 15 in Brussels (Belgium), new contributions to the PURL initiative (Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List) amounted to USD 422 million, purchases from the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex - over USD 715 million. This was announced by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"During the meeting in the Ramstein format, we reached agreements with our allies that will strengthen Ukraine. New contributions to the PURL initiative total at least USD 422 million. More than half of the NATO member states have already made or declared contributions to PURL," he said.
According to Shmyhal, new contributions to purchases from Ukrainian industry amounted to USD 715 million:
Norway – USD 600 million for UAVs, electronic warfare systems and explosives;
The Netherlands – USD 106 million for strike and reconnaissance UAVs;
Canada – USD 8 million for interceptor drones;
Iceland – USD 4 million within the framework of the "Danish model".
In addition, additional military assistance was announced by:
Sweden – USD 8 billion for security assistance to Ukraine in 2026–2027;

PURL is an initiative jointly created by NATO and the United States, under which European countries purchase American weapons and transfer them to NATO for further transfer to the Ukrainian Defense Forces, which are resisting russian aggression.
