India will no longer buy russian oil - Trump

US President Donald Trump said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured him of stopping purchases of russian oil. The American leader announced this during a joint press conference with FBI Director Kash Patel.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, Donald Trump called the Indian leader's promise a "big step" and outlined the next goal of his administration.

"I didn't like that India was buying oil, and he assured me today that they would not buy oil from russia. That's a big step. Now we're going to force China to do the same," Trump said.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the country's residents to abandon the use of foreign goods and services amid the deterioration of trade relations with the United States of America.
