Today, the realities of the battlefield are determined by strike drones, the kill zone (an area that is completely controlled by fire) already reaches 10 kilometers.
This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"At the current stage of the war, the realities of the battlefield are determined by strike drones, and the kill zone already reaches 10 kilometers. Under such conditions, the capabilities of our logistics and military medicine are of great importance for the operational evacuation of the wounded," he said.
Syrskyi noted that during the monthly working meeting on medical support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, attention was paid to all areas of improving the medical service, primarily to preserving the lives and health of the defenders of Ukraine who are holding the front.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in March, Rustem Umerov, who was the Minister of Defense at the time, announced the launch of the Drone Line project, which involves providing infantry with air support and cover and creating a killzone of 10-15 km, where the enemy's advance without losses is impossible.
