Russian dictator vladimir putin has threatened that if the US decides to supply Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles, relations between russia and the US will be destroyed.
He said this in a comment to russian propagandist Pavel Zarubin, whose video he posted on Telegram.
"You were just talking about the US President. There were questions, for example, related to discussing problems with the supply of new weapons systems, in particular long-range high-precision systems, Tomahawk, etc. I said that this would lead to the destruction of our relations, at least the positive trends that have emerged in these relations," the russian dictator said.
He stated that the development of the situation depends not only on russia, and not only on himself.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 26, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy asked US President Donald Trump to provide Ukraine with Tomahawk cruise missiles.
On September 28, US Vice President JD Vance said that the United States is considering the possibility of transferring Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine, but the final decision remains with President Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, Reuters, citing a US official and three other sources, reported that it is inappropriate to transfer Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine, and it is unlikely that the administration of US President Donald Trump will make such a decision.
