The evacuation was carried out today, September 30, on the instructions of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. During the operation, 57 people were evacuated from the Gaza Strip. The plane with the evacuees has already landed at Chisinau airport. Later they will be transported by bus to the territory of Ukraine.

Ukraine is grateful to Israel, Jordan and Moldova for their assistance in the evacuation operation. Also, thanks were sent to the SkyUp airline, which has been providing systematic assistance in such operations.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on September 16, the Israel Defense Forces launched a ground operation to establish full control over the Gaza Strip.

Besides, a commission established by the UN Human Rights Council concluded that the actions of the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip have signs of genocide.
