The Ukrainian military shot down a russian front-line fighter-bomber Su-34 in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on September 25.
The incident occurred at about 4 a.m. The downed plane had previously carried out strikes on Zaporizhzhia using guided bombs.
The Su-34 is one of the main types of russian tactical aircraft. They are actively used to drop high-precision munitions with guidance and correction modules.
As a reminder, in August of this year, the Su-30SM multi-role fighter of the aggressor country's army disappeared over the Black Sea near Zmiinyi Island. The plane probably crashed.
