NovaSklo has signed an agreement with Pilkington Technology Management Limited (NSG Group) - a world leader in glass production technologies.
This is indicated in a statement by the press service of the investment company EFI Group, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The statement says that under the agreement, NSG will provide engineering support during the construction of a float glass production line in the Kyiv Region.
Thus, the founder of NovaSklo and the investment company EFI Group Ihor Liski wrote that NSG Group engineers will provide technical expertise and consulting support at all stages: from design to construction and launch of the NovaSklo float glass plant.
The enterprise will become the first high-tech production of this scale in Ukraine, created in accordance with the highest international standards of energy efficiency, safety and sustainable development.
It is noted that NSG experts, together with the Ukrainian team, have already developed a master plan for the project, taking into account the requirements of leading international strategic players.
In the future, the team will engage consultants to optimize technologies and equipment, implement modern energy efficiency and safety systems, as well as integrate ESG standards, including: occupational health and safety, logistics safety, carbon footprint control, comprehensive risk assessment and modern energy management systems.
The plant will create more than 300 jobs and strengthen the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the region.
