The Armed Forces of Ukraine flooded an underground pipe in the Kupyansk area, through which russian troops moved. This was stated by the commander of the 429th separate regiment of unmanned systems Achilles Yurii Fedorenko on the air of Espreso.
Currently, the movement of the enemy through this pipe is not recorded.
"During active hostilities, it was not possible to dig this pipe using engineering military equipment, because these areas were under constant fire from the enemy. Therefore, the Defense Forces blocked the valves and made it impossible for the enemy to advance. The pipe was also significantly damaged with the help of engineering ammunition. Therefore, the enemy had no opportunity to use it to deliver manpower before," Fedorenko explained.
It is also reported that during the fighting, the occupiers carried out underground work, and also paved their way and the possibility of moving along this pipe.
"The Defense Forces, after discovering these facts, inflicted a number of fire damage, which allowed them to damage this pipe in the area of the Oskil River and, as a result, flood it. At this moment, the enemy's movement along the pipe is not recorded. The enemy has again begun to climb through the crossings of the Oskil River. This does not mean that over time the enemy will not be able to restore this pipe, but it is being monitored closely. And if the enemy manages to carry out work on pumping, welding or leveling this pipe, if it is not critically damaged, there is already a full understanding of the algorithm for its destruction," Fedorenko added.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 13, the DeepState portal stated that the russian occupiers are continuing their offensive in the Kupyansk area.
The General Staff states that the situation in and around the city of Kupyansk, Kharkiv Region, is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The pipeline through which the russian occupiers moved to the city is also under the control of Ukrainian defenders.
