The Ukrinform publication noted that the US president also reiterated that Zelenskyy and russian dictator vladimir putin hate each other. According to Trump, he will most likely have to be present at the negotiating table between the leaders of Ukraine and russia. At the same time, he emphasized that Europe is behaving unfairly towards the US, because it should immediately stop buying russian oil.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on September 16, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that US President Donald Trump will likely meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy next week in New York.
