Will have to intervene. Trump on possible Zelenskyy-putin summit

US President Donald Trump said that he does not rule out organizing a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and russian dictator vladimir putin, but admitted that it will not be easy to do.

This is reported by Fox News.

The head of the White House recalled that during his political career he has already stopped several wars and now seeks to end the war between russia and Ukraine. According to him, at first it seemed that it would be simple, but the situation turned out to be much more complicated.

"The hatred between Zelenskyy and putin is boundless. They frankly cannot stand each other. I think I will still have to speak. One way or another, we will find a way to resolve this issue. They hate each other so much that they cannot even breathe next to each other. Therefore, I will have to intervene," Trump emphasized.

The American President also expressed his belief that negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow will take place, although their format has not yet been determined - bilateral or trilateral.

"There will be negotiations. But I will probably have to intervene. Putin and Zelenskyy hate each other so much that they are practically unable to talk. They simply cannot have a dialogue," he added.

Recall that after the Istanbul talks, the delegations of Ukraine and russia have already announced the possibility of organizing a summit between Zelenskyy and putin to advance the peace process.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 8, Trump announced negotiations with russian dictator vladimir putin after russia's record attack on Ukraine.
