Ukraine to receive software kits for creating swarms of UAVs controlled by AI

The American company Auterion will supply Ukraine with software by the end of this year that turns ordinary drones into a "living swarm".

The British publication Financial Times reported this on Sunday, September 14.

Under a contract with the US Department of War, the company will supply Ukraine with a batch of kits for 33,000 drones controlled by artificial intelligence (AI).

Auterion CEO Lorenz Meier said that UAVs with artificial intelligence are capable of taking the war in Ukraine to a new level.

"All the military talks about swarm attacks, everyone is afraid of them, they know that this will suppress their defenses. The technology developed by the company turns autonomous drones into a single, coordinated combat force," Meier said.

According to him, the use of this technology will increase the efficiency of UAV operators and reduce the burden on them. This is the key to successful task completion.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 6, it became known that the Ukrainian UAV manufacturer Ukrspecsystems will build a factory in the UK.

We will remind, in October this year, an agreement is expected to be signed between Ukraine and the Philippines on cooperation in the production of UAVs.
