The publication notes that the commander of Ukraine's unmanned forces, Robert Brody, reported that the Starlink outage affected the entire front line of the war with russia, starting at 07:28 local time. The publication reports that the Ukrainian Armed Forces rely heavily on SpaceX's Starlink terminals for battlefield communications and some drone operations. According to officials, more than 50,000 of such terminals are currently in operation in Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier, Polish Minister of Digitalization Krzysztof Gawkowski said that his country would not be able to pay for Starlink satellite internet services for Ukraine due to President Karol Nawrocki's veto of the law on providing assistance to Ukrainians.
