US President Donald Trump said that he is ready to impose serious sanctions against the aggressor country russia when all NATO countries do so and when they stop buying russian oil. Trump wrote about this on his social network Truth Social on Saturday, September 13.
According to him, if NATO collectively imposes a 50-100% tariff on Chinese goods, such a step will deal a blow to China's influence on russia. Trump also stressed that he is ready to impose large-scale sanctions against russia.
"I am ready to do major Sanctions on Russia when all NATO Nations have agreed, and started, to do the same thing, and when all NATO Nations STOP BUYING OIL FROM RUSSIA," the US president wrote.
Trump also called the purchase of russian oil by some NATO countries "shocking." In his opinion, this weakens the negotiating position and the possibility of putting pressure on russia.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on September 8, Trump announced negotiations with russian dictator vladimir putin after russia's record attack on Ukraine.
On September 7, Trump said he was ready for the second phase of sanctions against russia over the war in Ukraine.
