US President Donald Trump commented on the incident with russian drones that violated Polish airspace. According to him, this could have happened due to a "mistake".
He stated this on Thursday during a conversation with reporters at the White House, Bloomberg writes.
"It could have been a mistake, but despite this, I am not happy with this whole situation. I hope everything ends well," Trump said.
He also emphasized that he condemns russia "even for the fact that it came close to this limit", and added: "I don't like it. I'm not happy about it".
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of September 9-10, russian UAVs flew into the territory of Poland. The Polish military recorded 19 cases of violation of the country's airspace.
To destroy the drones, Poland and its NATO allies sent fighter jets into the sky. They managed to shoot down several russian drones.
US President Donald Trump made ambiguous comments about the russian drone attack on Poland.
Meanwhile, Poland, after the russian drone attack, said that putin was mocking Trump.
