"Ukraine, together with its partners, is doing everything to bring sustainable peace closer and guarantee security in Europe," Yermak emphasized.

In turn, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha also reported on the social network X that he and Yermak met Stubb at the Kyiv train station.

Sybiha also reported that Stubb will hold important talks with Zelenskyy on European security and integration, transatlantic pressure on russia, and steps towards a lasting peace.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in early September, Stubb stated that progress had been made on security guarantees for Ukraine, but added that a peace agreement must be concluded before any measures can be implemented.
