The Defense Forces of Ukraine cleared the settlement of Udachne in the Donetsk Region (Pokrovsk Axis) from russian occupiers and raised the Ukrainian flag.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The "Skelia" regiment liberated the settlement of Udachne in the Donetsk Region. In direct contact and with the support of means of destruction, all enemy strongholds were destroyed," the video says.
The General Staff showed footage of fighters destroying an enemy position with a grenade launcher shot. It is reported that over the course of two weeks, assault groups gradually cleared "house by house" and raised the Ukrainian flag over the village.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 1, Ukrainian defenders liberated the settlement of Novoekonomichne in the Donetsk Region from russian occupiers.
In August, the Ukrainian Defense Forces cleared the settlements of Hruzske, Rubizhne, Novovodiane, Petrivka, Vesele, and Zolotyi Kolodiaz in the Donetsk Region.
Prior to that, the Ukrainian Defense Forces liberated and completely cleared the settlement of Bezsalivka in the Sumy Region from russian occupiers.
