As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 4, 2024, the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court considered the appeal of the prosecution against the ruling of the investigative judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court dated October 1, 2024 on changing the preventive measure for the former MP. Following the results of the consideration, the panel of judges satisfied the appeal of the prosecution, overturned the decision of the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court and issued a new decision, by which the defense side was denied the request to change the preventive measure for the suspect. Thus, the preventive measure in the form of a bail of UAH 272,520,000 continues to apply to the suspect.
The NABU, the SAPO and the SSU suspect former Verkhovna Rada member Serhiy Pashynskyi of misappropriating and selling almost 100,000 tons of petroleum products confiscated by the state from businessman Serhiy Kurchenko, which were supposed to be used for the needs of the army.
