A large-scale concert was held in Sofiivska Borshchahivka, Kyiv Region, on the evening of August 28 after the russian missile strike on the capital. This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, on Telegram.
It is reported that a video was distributed on social networks and Telegram channels, where a loud concert was taking place with the participation of a large number of people, and the head of the Regional Military Administration was forced to react harshly to the situation.
"I inform you that this week I held a regular meeting of the Defense Council of the Kyiv Region, where in the presence of the heads of law enforcement agencies, heads of districts and communities I proved the Government's decision on the procedure for holding mass events - all events can take place exclusively with the approval of the military command and taking into account security requirements. The event organized today in Sofiivska Borshchahivka did not have such approval. Therefore, I immediately contacted the police for an appropriate response," the message says.
Kalashnyk also expressed his indignation that these days in Kyiv and the region are days of mourning for the victims of the brutal enemy attack, as a result of which 21 Kyiv residents were killed.
"At the moment, this event has been stopped, people have dispersed. Administrative materials under Article 185-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and Laws have been filed against the organizer of the event and the head of the Borshchahivka village council. I thank the leadership of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv Region for their quick response," the head of the Regional Military Administration said.
A free concert in Sofiivska Borshchahivka with the participation of two Ukrainian performers was announced the day before by one of the local housing complexes. The event was supposed to start on August 28 at 7:00 pm and was declared a charity event - the organizers announced a collection of UAH 200,000 for the repair of wards in a military hospital.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, August 29 was declared a Day of Mourning in Kyiv in memory of the victims of massive attack by the military of the aggressor country, the russian federation, on the capital.
The number of victims of the massive shelling in Kyiv has increased, rescuers found 23 people killed by a missile strike.
