As of 1:30 am on August 29, it became known that the number of people killed during the massive air attack on Kyiv on the night of August 28 had increased to 23. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, in Telegram.
"Unfortunately, the number of people killed in Kyiv has increased to 23 people. My condolences to their families and friends," Tkachenko said.
It is also reported that according to information compiled as of the evening, 225 residential buildings were damaged as a result of the russian attack on Kyiv. Along with non-residential buildings, garages, yards and public buildings, there was damage in all districts of the capital.
"The districts reported that they have already counted more than 5,400 broken windows and window blocks. Almost 4,000 are in the Holosiivskyi district," the head of the Administration said.
Almost 800 people and 162 pieces of equipment were involved in the elimination of the consequences during the day. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine, together with municipal workers, removed more than 2,060 cubic meters of garbage and debris from the damage sites.
