"War in Ukraine coming to end," President of Brazil

Brazilian President Lula da Silva said that the war in Ukraine should end soon, Rai News reports.

Da Silva said the main concern of international leaders was who would have to shoulder the "war debt" in Eastern Europe. According to him, everyone is currently waiting for the right time to announce its end.

"Everyone knows that this war is coming to an end. I believe that both president putin and Zelenskyy know how far this conflict will go, as do Europe and Trump. They are just waiting for the moment when they will have the courage to announce its end," the Brazilian President said.

At the same time, da Silva criticized the allocation of EUR 800 billion for the rearmament of the EU. In his opinion, these funds should be used for other purposes, such as combating hunger and deforestation.
